Breast Shell for Radiotherapy in Breast Cancer: Giovanna Dipasquale, HeroSupport
Currently: patients with breast cancer are adjusted to fit a table for radiotherapy.
Soon: the table will be fitted to them.
A personalized shell, 3D-printed for one specific patient, will be used for all radiation sessions.

My guest, Giovanna Dipasquale, is a co-founder and CEO of HeroSupport. A medical physicist with over two decades of experience in radiotherapy at one of the biggest hospitals in Europe, the Geneva University Hospital, where she led a study in 3D printing for radiotherapy.
HeroSupport is a Swiss startup that is developing a personalized breast shell for radiotherapy in cancer treatment. Venus Shell allows for shorter radiation sessions, more comfort, and more precision.
